Required main story line levels are not listed for each character as the game already makes it clear if you need to level up in order to advance the story. If you do not have a needed character or attraction by leveling it to this level anyway you will ensure that when you get it you will be ready to make use of it right away or faster if it requires another character that you are missing. Refer to the Wiki for each characters specific activities and requirements. It is assumed that you have all attractions and characters. A '?' afterwards means that the DMK Wiki did not list a specific level for some token dropping activities so it may need to be higher. The T# is the highest level the character needs to be to do an activity for a chance at a token dropping. The characters listed order is determined by how hard the tokens to level them up are to get from easiest to hardest instead of by the order in the character book. The first listed character from past events has a '*' after the name and is the character that usually can fight in a Tower Event repeatedly without using a refresher. The first token is not listed since it is always Common and the same for every character in a set.

The first two letters in the parenthesis after a characters name are the rarity of the tokens needed to level the character up. The second line gives information on whether a character set has been or is expected to be balanced. Characters are not listed in the order they are found in the character book.
